Amazon has the TV on sale for only $405 and I would like to know if it supports 120Hz at 1080p ? I read some reports that stated it works as a 120Hz monitor and some others that said the 39 Inch model won't support that until a firmware update so I wanted to ask the forum. I've been looking for a tv or a monitor that supports 120Hz at 1080p for gaming.

its 30hz refresh at 4k… I've seen one in person and for a static desktop or dslr camera picture viewing its pretty amazing and quite a sight to see… after calibration color is quite amazing and obviously the clarity is stunning. for gaming i would imagine it could work in situations where more than 30fps is not needed… but for upper echelon gaming like bf4 etc… 30fps is not going to cut it.

Several reviews report that the display supports 120hz at 1080p. That's a native 120hz, too. Not the gimmick you find on so many displays. I almost can't believe it.
