Wait until one of these are for sale http://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-290x-directcu-ii-... At least it looks like it has sufficient cooling!

Exactly, WTF? what is the difference between them, I mean all of them are AMD, so what difference in terms of quality or performance level do they give?

The chip is provided by AMD, but everything else is designed by Sapphire or XFX themselves. On the outside they both look the same, but on the inside it's two different cards.

The std cooler on the cards in your link is loud and barely sufficient! The one I posted is improved over it! But really to answer your question The GPU (processor) is made by AMD and the different partners produce the cards. First after release of a card (not counting renames like 280X) all the cards are same since they are using the AMD reference design. Later on they start popping out from the partners with their own cooling and PCB design!

So which one is better out of all the companies that have modified or whatever remade the R9 290X?

290x with custom cooler isn't out yet, so you will have to wait.

Between the two cards you've linked to there is no difference.

The SAPPHIRE R9 290X is an AMD Reference Design card and uses exactly the same GPU and memory clock speeds so the performance of both cards should be identical.
