I'm just looking for one more rate before I start ordering parts. Any tips, advice, changes, etc. would be much appreciated

Here is a link to the build. I'd love any criticism, good or bad, from someone who is willing to give a little of their time. Thank you!

I agree an Amd build would be more economical. I would say get the Amd 6300. And an Asus Am3+ 970 motherboard, (or a 990fx if you want.)

Next I would replace the ram with something from Corsair or Kingston or Samsung.

PSU- change that to something from Corsair (RM or HX series @ about 650 watts) or from Seasonic.

Cpu Cooler- just spend the extra few bucks and get the cooler master 212 EVO

Gpu- R9 270 or R9 270X (it is an improved 7870) or a R9 280X (rebadged 7979 ghz edition) if you can find one on sale.

You get a better cpu.You can overclock with this one.
Also a better motherboard to be able to overclock with.
You get a better gpu.
Also the possibility to upgrade to two gpu's=crossfire although that would mean a upgrade of the power supply too.
A faster but less big=1tb hdd.Do you really need 1.5tb? You can always add another one.
I took the liberty too change the case in favor of some parts. It's up to you whether you like this one or not.
All for about the same money.

With the next ram you could even be under your budget,
