I need help, I just took out a few of my components to clean them because after a year they were extremely dusty. When I put them back in the computer worked fine but the sound card was not recognized. So I turned it back off to make sure it was put in correctly. I rebooted it and now it was seen as an unrecognized device and the drivers would not work for it. So I restarted it one more time and now nothing shows up on the screen. I have rebooted it several times but nothing posts on the screen, not even the bios. How can I fix this?

I don't know if this has to do with the overclocking I had done to the cpu and memory prior to this.

what you can do is, remove the part, then put it back firmly

Ive tried this multiple times unplugging the graphics card and the sound card and putting them back in but just absolutely nothing shows up on the screen.

Have you tried a clear cmos? Either by moving the right jumper for about 5 seconds or taking the pc completely of the power=cable out of the socket and taking the motherboard battery out of the board for about half an hour.
See if this works, check the settings in the bios if it does,i mean reset the settings to the optimal default values and save with F10+y->enter.Also check whether the time and date still are set correctly.

Okay I have fixed it. I honestly don't know what I did but I tried taking the sound card back out and restartin it with one stick of Ram and suddenly it finally booted to the bios. Thanks you Tom's Hardware for your help.
