Hi (to whomever),
I hope this the the correct way to respond to my problem.

I was asked for the name of the file. It has no name. I tried to get a snippit of what happens when I right click but it can't do it as the things that come up disappear before I can get a copy of it. What does come up is this:
Open,
Search Everything,
Shared Folder Synchronization, and
open Command Prompt.

When I click on any of these I get:
Class not registered.
Also I have run virus scans and SFC /r without any results. I have gone into the registry but was unable to find anything that I was comfortable to erase that was associated with that file.

Just wondering if there is a software program that can tell me what in the registry the folder is associated with? Anotherwards if I click on the folder is there anything that can point me in the right direction in the registry?

might be malware. download, run, and post the log from security check by screen 317.
http://screen317.spywareinfoforum.org/
then download junkware removal tool from bleeping computer.run the program. post the log.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/
then download hijack this from trend micro to your desktop (download all the others to this location as well).run a scan and post the log.do not fix anything with hijack this yet.post back with this info and we can take it from there.
