I have been using this gpu for more than one year. Suddenly one morning when i tried to boot windows, the card was making too much noise and dont boot. Tried multiple times but no luck.
System run on onboard graphics perfectly. Afert enyer 5 days or so i am able to boot randomly and able to play anything and then the noise starts coming after an hour so. If i try before 5 days the noise starts coming from the first boot which is usucessful. Plz help!!!
Processor: Intel core 2 duo E7400
Ram : 2GB
Motherboard : intel dg31pr

Solution
it could be the gpu or it could be your power supply is failing and causing the gpu not to post and the gpu fan to max out.
try the gpu in another pc and another gpu in your pc and a test power supply. also look to see if both the gpu and power supply are still under warranty. if they are you can rma them.
