Hi Folks, need help here. does anyone have this setup for their mobo and graphics card? i recently purchased the gtx770 and when I installed it, the pc continually reboots and resets. It doesn't even go to the BIOS or even boot up windows. I took the card to the store and they tested it with a newer mobo (Asus H87-M) and it worked like a charm. I still can't get the 770 to work and reverted to my trusty GTX295. Please help!

Solution
Problem solved! I took the computer apart, and inserted the GTX770 card and booted without the RAM or any other device/component. It beeped the usual memory errors and then I turned it off. After a while, I reinserted the RAM into the board and the GTX770 worked! They have resolved the error, which I believe is just timing/ synchronization between the Processor, Motherboard, GTX770 and the RAM. It was a weird glitch but everything is OK now. (Everything is on AUTO in the BIOS, CPU speed, Memory settings, etc.)

smorizio, I recently updated the bios to version 4003 and even fiddled with the iGPU settings to no avail.
sosofm, the PC does not boot up. it continually tries POST and resets.
firo40, I'm using Gigabyte Odin GT 800Watts. It supports and runs the GTX295, which I believe is more power hungry than the GTX770.

Thanks for the input guys. Keep 'em coming!

Any more inputs? Does the GTX770 have problems if my motherboard has only PCI 2.0 and not PCI 3.0? I haven't read anything on the internet about the GX770 not being able to run on PCI 2.0. (yet)

Does it have problems withZ68 chipsets?

I also tried that approach smorizio, same result. GTX 770 ws stuck on the reset-reboot loop and no chance to enter the BIOS. Pressing F2 or DEL doesn't do anything. I also tried the old GTX295 in the second slot, it booted up without a problem and entered Windows (it thought it was a new card and automatically reinstalled nVidia drivers). I contacted Asus support, provided more info, and will probably RMA the motherboard and graphics card. It'll be a long and sad wait. Thank you all for your inputs.
