Hello everybody
I would like to know if a gtx 660 will fit in my computer/motherboard/case etc
I have a hp pavilion p6-2012pt http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=5151865&spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03217673-6%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken and my motherboard is a H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX.
The weakest link in the pc is the graphics card (GeForce gt530) which I want to upgrade, i talked to a friend about this and he recommended to me the GeForce gtx660 2gb graphical memory.
My pc has a pci 2.0 x16 slot, but i'm not sure about this since my knowledge about computers isn't high enough, so I hope you can help me out on this one.
P.S. I also would like to know if I will need any additional parts to pull this off
Thanks everyone

you need a power supply.............. but without seeing the internal layout of the case I couldn't tell you if you need a specific "fit" or if a "standard" one will fit...........also, without seeing the inside of the case I can only guess that the card will physically fit.

that's one of the pictures I found. you see the way that big metal strip comes down to the bottom of the case ( the hard drive cage ).......... a long card may not fit there......... I still can't make an estimation on that. how much room from the back of the case where the gpu hold down bracket is and that cage?

ps... something like this would be okay......... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438012
