Hi,
I have a gigabyte Z77-d3h mobo which in general works great. A few times since i've had this set up i've had power cuts in my house (unrelated to the computer).
When restoring power and booting up, my mobo is prompting me to restore defaults (and either rebooting or just booting). also the time and date are reset on the desktop.
Could this be a dud cmos battery perhaps? My last rig would keep the info for ages if unplugged for extended periods. the mobo is only about 4-5 months old so it should be going strong.
Anyone else have this issue?
