Would my current power supply support the AMD R9 280x?

Hello,

Would my current power supply support the following system if I were to get a AMD R9 280x? If not what PSU would you recommend?

My current system specs:
AMD x6 1090T @ 3.2Ghz
8GB Corsair Vengeance
AMD HD 6850
128GB SSD + 250GB HDD
Cooler Master GX 550W

The CM GX 550 is not a good power supply.
It is listed in tier 4 on this list.

Meaning it is not to be stressed to full output. or it will not provide stable power.
It is up to you if you want to chance it damaging hardware.

I would suggest any power supply in tier 3 and above. in the 550-600 watt range.
