Hi
i'm having a little problem here... im using sapphire trixx to control the GPU fan speed.. the video card is an Hd 5670.... but the thing is i set it for example at 50% and it goes up to that speed... but a few seconds later it goes down to 0% and stays there... i've already tried to do this with the catalyst control center, and it does the same...and i've also tried downgrading the drivers because i was using the 13.11 (beta) and i downgraded them to the latest stable version (13.9)...
I'm honestly lost here and i can't figure out what's causing this..
Thanks in advance.

System details:
-Intel Core 2 Duo E7500
-asus P5QPL-AM
-4 Gb ram
-ATI HD 5670 GDDR5 1Gb
-Windows 7

Solution
uninstall also the sapphire trixx and use only catalyst. latest version should have the options from the first link i sent. set it to something reasonable like 50C target and max fan control to 100.

i only have this settings to modify: http://i40.tinypic.com/s46et0.jpg

i rebooted the system and found out something.... when the computer starts sapphire trixx is doing it's job... it kept the card around 45ºC with the fan at approx 40% but after a few minutes the fan goes down to 0% and it can't control it anymore...things just got even more weird...

it defintly has something to do with the drivers, as soon as i unninstalled them the fan went up and the temp dropped to 40ºC... the thing is when i install the drivers it starts to go up again and the fan goes to 0%....
