Hi guys, i'm from singapore and i would like to build a gaming rig.
my budget is 1k-1.2k.
i'm thinking of purchasing it as soon as possible as my laptop of 1 year has broke down even though i have sent it for repairs for three times which cost me 300 hundred dollars ;(

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP
Budget Range: SGD 1k-1.2k .
System Usage from Most to Least Important : Mostly Gaming to social media like facebook and twitter.
Parts Not Required: i've been using laptop all my life so i guess i'd require everything?
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: http://fuwell.com.sg/uploads/misc/Fuwell071213.pdf

https://www.dropbox.com/s/in6z6g0en4yjf0e/Pc%20Theme%20Pricelist.pdf

Country: Singapore

Parts Preferences: i quite like ASUS but whichever is fine.

Overclocking: it'll be good if it can fit into the budget ;)

SLI or Crossfire: i have no idea what are those but i will choose the better one if possible or the one which better fits my requirement.

Monitor Resolution: 1980x1080

i know it's annoying but i will appreciate if you guys can lend me a hand. thanks alot. i have also listed down the price list from some shops in singapore at the "Preferred Website(s) for Parts " section. hope it helps, once again thanks ! :)

what kind of games are you planning to play and you want it on ultra i guess ? wich one sounds familiar to you AMD OR INTEL
you can check here all builds included , you just search on top right corner what cpu you want and it shows every single build :) gl

hi nddz, games i'm looking forward to playing are crysis 3 and bf 4. i also play dota 2 from time to time. both intel and amd sounds familiar but INTEL is more familiar to me as all the laptop i've been using are based on intel :) thanks for the suggestion. however some parts aren't available in singapore :(

get i5 3570K obviously if you want intel and get a gtx 770 if you want to play @ 60fps ultra w/o AA and for MB i suggest picking this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293 overclockable
for PSU 600w is minimum requirements for gtx 770 but for being more save you should get this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040 , other parts pick by yourself , also get a good pc case with fans or even water cooling they're around you can find good ones for 50-80$

they work fine if you could handle this version of 770 would be much better , ASUS version(ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5), has the best cooling and its super quiet. Its overclocked version is a beast. It wont bottleneck

The TX3 is good for cooling and for milder overclocks (and its reasonably sized)

The 212 EVO will allow for higher overclocks (but its BIG) i'd suggest this one

HAF 912 cooling system :
-Front: 120 mm fan x 2, 1200 RPM, 17 dBA (one is optional, can be swapped for one 200mm fan)
-Top: 120 mm fan x 2 or 200mm fan x 1(optional)
-Rear: 120 mm fan x 1, 1200 RPM, 17 dBA
-Side:120/140 mm fan x 1 (optional)
there it shows everything

think 212 evo is great cpu cooling for its price and perfor, but take a look at this a little expensive but works well

it also depends how muc hare you overclocking if your doing till 3.8-4.0+ , from 4.5+ you need watercooling system
im not sure either maybe get a CoolerMaster Vortex 211P CPU Cooler and for pc case fans as it old you check how many fans it if top/rear etc and choose one , corsair should be better :)

the cooling system for HAF 912 is
Front: 120 mm fan x 2, 1200 RPM, 39 dBA
(one is optional, can be swapped for one 200mm fan)

Top: 120 mm fan x 2 or 200mm fan x 1(optional)

Rear: 120 mm fan x 1, 1200 RPM, 39 dBA

Side: 120/140 mm fan x 1 (optional)

so does that means i'd only require to get one 200mm fan and one 120mm fan or should i just go all out and get two 200mm fan and two 120mm fan?

and if so, should i get the CoolerMaster MegaFlow 200 20cm Fan x2 and CoolerMaster XtraFlo BladeMaster 120mm Fan x 2

and if so, should i get the CoolerMaster MegaFlow 200 20cm Fan x2 and CoolerMaster XtraFlo BladeMaster
get 2x 120mm for top , side 1 140mm and you should be fine
