i thik it's of no use of having GT 750M with just 1366 resolution. So is sony a better option????

neither of them are gonna be great gaming performers - both 740m and 750m will be brought to their knees by the latest games and high details - you have to remember these are NOT the desktop 750 and 740...

pick the one you like better in terms of looks or value.

Which of the two laptops have higher performance. Though both have i5 4200U processor, due to difference in the company and architecture of their laptops, there should definitely be some performance difference between the two. Keeping aside their graphic card's and RAM's performances which laptop has better performance in terms of there absolute processor usages and efficiences.
