Gskill compatibilitywith Asus 787 Sabertooth Mother board

G Sill lists Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL as compatible in their QVL for the Asus Sabertooth 787

Asus site does not list above memory in their QVL for the Sabertooth 787

Question is will the sticks work in the Sabertooth 787?

Yes they will work just fine. Gskill just makes enough similar stuff they don't mention everything they make on the list. That should be a good matchup. If you haven't bought them already look around wherever you looking at, seems lately the 2133 MHz gskill memory has been as cheap or cheaper than the 1600 stuff, and the faster memory actually scales pretty well on the Haswell platform (assuming you mean Z87 not Z77... not sure what 787 is)
