ATI or nVidia with an AMD processor?

Hey,

This is currently my setup:
Motherboard: GigaByte GA-F2A85XM-D3H rev 3.0
Processor: AMD A10-6800K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4GB

i'm currently using the integrated graphics from the APU
but i would like to upgrade to a +-100$ graphics card
i'm thinking of a Radeon HD7770 or a nVidia GTX 650
which one should i pick and why?

Could look into the 650ti boost.

I would take that one, but if it's too much the 7770 will be better than the standard gtx 650.

One of the best cards for that pricerange is the 7770. Honestly, it's the one I would go with.

If you had more room in your budget, look into the 7790 or GTX 650 Ti Boost. Those are also good cards for the next pricepoint up.

GTX 650Ti is the lowest thing u can go, lower than that its better to stick with your processor APU which is great.

What games u want to run and what resolution???

I'm going to play some call of duty / battlefield
And would like to play them at mid to high settings.
I might step up my budget to +- 150$ what is a decent card for that budget?

If your planning to play Battlefield 4 forget high settings you will run on low, mid settings if your lucky with low fps.

Ok i think i'm going with a GTX 660
Also i'm probably not going to play BF4 only BF3

The best card within 150$ would be the gx 650ti boost/hd7850 or you might get a hd7870 for sale,search for it.
