is 8800gts compatable with h61m-ds2 dvi?

i have a 8800gts but cant get a signal when i plug it in :(
i have a 700wat psu with enough voltage on the rails to power it

could you recommend a graphics card that is similar and hopefully not too pricey that would work with my mobo? please? or give me some ideas of what i could do to prove its dead/ideas to get it working?

well, this is an old graphic card..
usually this series have touch the limit of it's age..
7 years is old for an electronic..

so try this..
clean your graphic card golden bridge with contact cleaner or pencil eraser..
then try it again..

this one is the simplest method how to fix an error on your computer..

or, you can do baking method to temporary fix your graphic card..
