Hi,

My PC freezes only after logging in especially after its turned on again after a long session of use (8-10 hours). I'm able to log on but after that the cursor freezes and the CPU and GPU fans both go crazy @ high revs.

I've noticed that I'm able to predict this happening when my CPU/GPU (can't tell which one) starts with a sudden burst of fan revs on pressing the power button. This does not happen the majority of times though and when it does, after I reboot 5-7 times it works fine with absolutely no lag or freezing whatsoever. I'm really confused, is this a hardware or a software issue (a corrupt OS installation maybe)?

My config is:
FX 8350
HD 4890
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
4GB Corsair RAM
Cooler Master GX 750W

Please help!

fans go crazy, mean a hardware(s) was fail to communicate in your system..

unplug all of your parts, exp, memory, graphic card, power cables..

clean the golden bridge of your graphic card and memory with contact cleaner or pencil eraser..
and make sure all of power cables and sata cables, is connected properly and tight..
