I have started to play BF4 and i heard that your able to get a solid 60FPS with just one gigabyte 7870 card on high settings at 1080p yet i have x2 and im always hovering around 40-45 FPS is there a way to better optimize my PC for gaming?

My setup is
I5 3570k
Asus 1155 V-Pro Motherboard

I just bought 2nd 7850 2G so my son can crossfire with the 1st 7850 2G. His CPU is i5-2310 running on AMD catalyst 13.9. Power supply is OCZ 550W. With 7850 crossfire on ultra setting, AA on, at 1080p, he got somewhere around 70+ frames.

With 40-45 frames, it sounds like you got only one 7870 working.

1. Did you select X-fire in the setting on AMD catalyst? Maybe try 13.9 since it will not hurt.
2. Did you put X-fire cable to link both 7870?
3. Your power supply should be atleast 600W?

That's all I can think of.

I have Corsair TX750W power supply so i dont think power is the issue i have the crossfire ribbon connected with Crossfire X enabled on the cat control currently at V13.10

Well that's where my cards draw the line. When V sync is enable it eliminates tearing in any form. It forces the game to 60Fps.
