Hello guys. I just installed a Cooler master Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler, and I'm stuck on a reboot loop. I'm not quite sure what component has taken damage, so I would be glad if you could help me.
Thanks in advance.

Pretty damn sure. Every fans is running, and it looks like it's seated correctly. Also I followed a tutorial.

It's just a black screen. It's a black screen for about 10 seconds, then dies for 6 seconds and then restarts.

I had the same problem few days ago and turns out I somehow managed to bend a pin on the motherboards CPU socket. My second DIMM slot stopped working and the only way to boot properly was to remove the ram stick from my second DIMM slot.

So what should I do?

Do some troubleshooting. This might take some time... Disconnect everything from the motherboard apart from the CPU and 1 ram stick. Try booting with the ram stick in all DIMM slots. If you find out that one DIMM slot is causing the boot loop then you are done. If there is no boot loop then keep adding parts one-by-one until you find out what is causing the problem.

Hook up a motherboard POST (Power On Self Test) speaker to the JFP2 header Speaker pins on your motherboard. The beep code that it gives out may tell you where the problem is occurring.

Yeah my motherboard came with one of those. If you have access to one then you should try this

Hmm.. Just seems weird to me. My RAM is a little new, bought it like a half year ago.. Are you sure its the RAM? And if it is, should I just replace it? Nothing with my video card to do? Just making sure.

Doesn't necessarily mean you have a faulty RAM stick. Since it occurred when you installed a new cpu cooler it could be a bent cpu pin on your motherboard that's causing the RAM slots to not work properly. Only way to find out is by doing troubleshooting. Try to boot with only 1 ram stick.

Open computer and reseat memory
Sometimes when the computer is moved or over time a memory stick can become loose causing the computer to be unable to read the memory or get errors as it's reading it. Try fixing this issue by opening the computer removing each of the memory sticks you have in the computer and then placing them back into the computer.

Swap memory location

If reseating the memory did not resolve the issue try swapping the location of the memory. If you have only one stick of memory in the computer try moving it to another slot and then boot the computer.

If you have more than one stick of memory try removing all but one stick of memory and boot the computer. If this does not resolve the issue try removing that stick of memory and try one of the other sticks of memory.

Try another computers memory

If you have access to another computer that uses the same memory, try using its known good memory in your computer.

If another computers memory works you know that you have bad memory. If another computers memory does not work and it is compatible with your computer unfortunately your motherboard or the slots on the motherboard are defective causing it to be unable to properly read the memory, which means the motherboard will have to be replaced.

Since you only have one memory module first try installing it in the DIMM2 slot. If that doesn't work then try installing it in the DIMM4 slot. If that doesn't work get a new memory module.

With that motherboard it is preferable to be using a pair of memory modules so that the motherboard operates the memory modules in dual-channel mode.
