hello i recently unpluged and took my 670 out of the case, i put it back in and hooked it up as usual and everything works right but the fan is stuck at 100% 5190rpm i tried lowering the % with msi afterburner but that didnt work.
When you took the card out did you happen to clean it or something.
If the card thinks it is overheating. I think the fan will go crazy like that.
no i went to use it to test another motherboard, the motherboard is fine. i just unhooked it put it in another motherboard, unhooked it and put it back in my machine
strange for sure. It may be worth removing it again to ensure the contacts for the PCI-E connector look clean then ensure when it is installed that the pci-e power cables are seated right(they click).

The power supply should have come with whatever connectors it needs.
