I got a Dell 2412M (8ms I think) IPS for photo editing and it's great for that. It's also 1920x1200. a few more vertical pixels which come in handy. It's also fine for BF3/BF4, smooth and no lag that I can see anyway

but i'd rather have an ips panel, if i wanted a cheap tn panel i always could pick up a packard bell monitor for 90 euro's (110$) at a local store

mmm yeah i'm trying to find a 120hz or 144hz ips panel, and i can't find one.
I want this because i'm probably gonna buy a 780 ti and its a waiste (sorry for bad english) to run like 150 fps on a 60hz monitor, so maybe the fps will go down with a 1920 by 1200 monitor :)

IPS monitors are not bad for gaming at all. If you want a monitor that challenge a 780 TI, then buy a QNIX LED Evolution 2 1440p monitor. Those can be OCed to 120hz and are considered the top Korean 1440p monitor on the market. It is a PLS (derivative of IPS) monitor.
