Internet explorer - cannot use suggested sites

I am using windows xp and running internet explorer 8. i cannot use the suggested sites feature (lets you see websites u might like based on websites u visit). When I try to run it i get this error message "error subscribing to feed".

can someone please help me to solve this issue?

ie open tools internet option then uder content semi the semi auto parameters.
