Hello, i recently bought a radeon 6570 video card, but i had a problem connecting it with the monitor (monitor has a vga slot and gpu only dvi-i and dvi-d) so i bought an vga/dvi adapter and i put the adapted in dvi-i slot on the gpu. It worked good for a month, but today after having my pc on for 10-15 minutes one of the fans went to 100% rpm and my monitor shut down. It said check signal cable on it but i don't know if it shut down or is it something else because before when i shut down the pc i also had the message check signal cable. I checked the temperatures and gpu is 30 degrees celsius constant and cpu cores aren't above 40. Also i scanned with the antivirus and it didn't find anything and in safe mode with networking same thing happend after 10 minutes. Please give me any suggestions to try myself.

I did, it should be working fine, just tell me, should i connect the adapter to dvi-d slot or dvi-i ? also could the cable be broken, is that even possible?
