B75M-GL r 2.0 I'm getting a screen flicker right between the bios screen and win7pro startup screen.
This is a horizontal flicker across the screen from top to bottom. It happens just for a split second. I have researched it and found that some people are having a very similar problem and it has to do with an Nvidea driver 275. I have looked and it appears that this board is utilizing an intel graphics driver. I'm not using any graphics card just using the onboard graphics with the VGA port. Anyone have any ideas or experience the same problem? I realize its not a performance problem but, I just want a clean appearance on boot. Thanks in advance for everyone's help....

Is this only while booting? If so, then don't worry. Its probably just switching video modes.

If it is switching video modes should I switch to a monitor with supported resolution, to resolve the flicker?

Yes it only happens at the slit second between the bios screen and the win7 startup. I would really like to resolve it even though it poses no issue other than I want a clean boot. Could it be resolved using a newer monitor with supported resolution? I did get a message right after I loaded win7 that the monitors resolution was not supported. The display was magnified at first until I updated the drivers which corrected that.

If it only happens between the bios and windows 7 start screen then i don't see why it matters. It isn't worth buying a new monitor just to stop the flicker that only happens when you start your computer up. Plus i doubt that a new monitor will remove it, it is probably just something that happens with the motherboard bios you have, don't worry about it.

Historically video cards have flashed or flickered while switching modes. Its been that way since the 1980s
