Hi guys. I bought HD7850 O.C. edition 2 gb once week ago. My CPU is q6600 @3.2 Ghz O.C., I was playing BF3 , 45-60 fps on ultra. And I bought BF4 but i can't play game. My fps is lower than 30 on medium, high settings. My friend who have hd7850 and q6600@2.6 Ghz as me playing bf4 , 40 fps on ultra settings and 45-50 fps on medium settings. What is the problem my system? And I have checked GPU-Z when I was playing BF4, My gpu load value is lower than %40 always.

Try to downclock the CPU, see what happens. What is the make/model of PSU ?

Is it only happening with BF4 or other games too ? If its only in BF4 then I must say, the game has still some bugs in it, and giving trouble to many people. Wait for a patch to release that might help.

I can say this. I and my friend tested our systems with 3dmark. And my points so lower than him. So I'm thinking my system has a problem. And I have a screenshot on BF4. I think it's helpful for analyzing problem. I have Cooler Master 460 W PSU.

I can't understand clearly :/

The problem could be your PSU, that is the worst piece of metal you got. It could be that the GPU is not getting enough power to run properly on load, thus you facing drop in FPS. Try another branded/rated PSU.

Radeon HD 7850 - requires 21 Ampere on +12V rail and a 500W PSU minimum.

Any good PSU of even 450W can handle the GPU, but yours CM.

You can be right. I will try a PSU. And I have set stock settings on bios now my O.C. settings. Not changing. I have 25-30 fps med-high settings still.

I know Q6600 is not enough but i must have minimum 45 fps on medium. because my friend has 40 fps on ultra with q6600 and hd7850. My RAM is 4 GB, 800 MHz

I have attached other pci-ex slot my graphic card and changed with another power pin socket. And fully removed ATI drivers, re-installed. There is no changing. I do not try PSU yet.

Look every system is different, maybe yours and your friends system are identical, but that doesn't mean it will give the same performance. This is the real world situation. Even if you replace the PSU, it could be you wont see a difference in performance. I just suggested you to go with a decent PSU, cause most of CM's PSU's are crap(bad) but not all. Your PSU is not a trusted one.

I think we all can live without playing games, but not without a decent system, so to save your system its better to have a decent PSU.

What would happen if your PSU can't cope with the load:

•bad 3D performance
•crashing games
•spontaneous reset or imminent shutdown of the PC
•freezing during gameplay
•PSU overload can cause it to break down

I think same as you. I will carry my case to my friend. And will try changing every component in turn. I will post in here again. Thank you.

Hey guys, I have a update for topic. Today I was going to carry my case to my friend but the city which i live is very snowy today. So I couldn't carry :(. And I didn't try PSU :( .But I have gone to my friend. And we have done 1-2 test. Firstly I overclocked his cpu up to 3.0 ghz. And done unpark core process. Selected Quality 3d settings (for more gpu load) at catalyst control center. And played Battlefield 4 mostly Ultra settings. (MSAA off). You will be suprise(mostly who saying cpu bottleneck). His system has 70-100 FPS (indoor), and 45-65 fps open areas. Has lowest 40 fps. Theese statistics are really good for q6600. And another suprise is gpu load was %80 ! I more focus at PSU now. I hope I will try him PSU on my system in 1-2 days.

And I have look his PSU. The model is XILENCE but there was no any watt, voltage information on psu.

Yeah guys, I have tried my friend's PSU today. And there is no solution. His PSU is 550W. We have attached his PSU to my system and played BF4. BF4 has 25-40 FPS. On open areas 25-30 FPS minimum 25 FPS. GPU Load is rise to a little. About %5. It has rised to %45-50. And I have tried his RAMs. RAMs effect is 2-3 FPS. So there is no solution still. And we have try his system for BF4. We have see minimum 39 FPS. Average 40-50 FPS. And so fluenty than my sytem. And his system gpu load is %70-80. The problem is chaotic now. I'm confused :/

My firend's system features : Q6600@2.7 Ghz, XIGMATEK 550 W PSU, KINGSTON 2+2 = 4 GB ram 800 mhz, MSI G31 mainboard, HD7850 2 gb O.C., 2 TB HDD, Contact21 CPU Cooler, windows 7 64 bit
