GTX 760 SLI or GTX 780?

So currently I have a nvidia gtx 760 2gb (gigabyte version) in my rig. With the up coming holidays I am hoping on getting a few new component one of which will be a GPU. Rite now I'm deciding between getting a second 760 or selling my current 760 and using that money along with money I will receive during the holidays to buy a 780. I know that performance wise two 760's in sli will be much more powerful than a 780 but if I get a 780 it will be much simpler and I won't need to buy a new PSU. Another thing I was thinking about is that in the future I will be able to upgrade my system with another 780, whereas if i go sli with 760's rite now then I will not be able to upgrade it any further in the future. So ultimately what should I do? And will a 780 actually be worth it in the long run? Or do you have any other recommendations for setups I could get for around the same price? Thanks for any help you can give.

It depends on how much money you can get for your 760

If you're having to replace your PSU if you go with SLI, I would go with the stronger single card; the 780.

And if you decide to SLI those, then that's when you should revisit a new PSU.

I'd go 780.

If i were you i would take the fastest gpu you can get your hands on (gtx 780) and not not look back. The 760s in sli however will give you better performance but with sli setups its like the lotto some people has issues some dont and with experience i had with 2 780s sli just wasnt for me and pretty much i was getting smoother fps with 1 780 so thats something to possible take note while choosing a gpu setup.
