I have *Windows* 8.1 on Lenovo Yoga 13. Their 128GB SSD shipped with C & D drive + 4 partitions. After a lot of customers and industry reviews complaints, they had a hotfix that after running, I now have a C drive and 5
partitions with no letter drive (2 recovery partitions). The C drive has 63GB with 10GB remaining. To the right, there is a partition with 1000MB and then 60GB unallocated space after. EaseUS Tech support says I can only create partition with their tool due to UEFI boot. There is recovery partition between C drive and 60GB unallocated space and their tool can not make the
unallocated partition part of the C drive.

With my choice limited to creating a partition with this large unallocated space, what are best suggestions to utilize this?

Can I install additional programs and apps or only data? I have external storage for data and backups.

Any help is appreciated

Solution
Because....U can use UEFI boot allocated other drivers not C drive....

becz C drive contain Operating System.....if u allocated....it may corrupt ur OS

Hi Gokul, thanks for the response. ...are you saying I would not be able to assign as "D" drive this unallocated space for installing programs as it may corrupt the OS on "C" or is that your answer to why I cannot extend C with the partition tool?

Please clarify as I would like to use 60GB for installing programs, apps and data thanks again.

Hi Gokul, correct...the 60GB unallocated. Could I create a "D" drive with Disk Management and reassign future installs into this with out issue?
