I have a dell optiplex 740 "desktop" that was used for business. Now i want to turn it into a gaming computer to play my favorite game League of Legends at 40-60 fps on low to medium settings(possibly high if found cheap) and any other low demanding games like minecraft, tf2, starcraft, guild wars 2. I also want this computer to multi-task too such as alt-tab through applications faster. Have pandora and skype running without suffering a drastic fps loss.
Here are some specs about this computer and i also have a list of items that i believe will be worth purchasing.

Is this card compatible with this computer and will it fit with ease?

I have a Windows 7 Professional 32 bit OS

I want my computer to multitask well so im considering buying 4 sticks of 2gbx2 ram equaling up to 8gb.

All in all... Will these items fit my needs in gaming. Do i need to upgrade my PSU after this upgrade? Am i doing something wrong? You tell me! PLS HELP! Make sense too

1) That graphics card will not fit within your case. Your system will only accept low-profile (aka half-height) graphic cards, unless you also have the PCI-Ex16 riser.
2) Regardless, your motherboard's maximum power output through the PCI-Ex16 slot is only 25 watts (as opposed to the standard 75watts). This limits you to only low end, non-gaming graphic cards.
3) 32-Bit Operating systems can only utilize a maximum of 4GB of address space. In order to utilize the full 8GB you're considering, you would need to purchase a 64-bit Operating System.
4) If you could install a higher end graphics card, you would need to upgrade the power supply from the current 280 watt PSU you have.

All in all, it's not worth the effort. Start looking at building new.
