Im going to try and make this as simple as possible. I have a Corsair 400r case with average specs. The case comes with a 3 120mm fans. 2 in the front and 1 in the back. I recently bought 3 120mm fans (may buy a 4th) But for now I only have 3. My case has a 120mm on the bottom and 2 on the side. I was wondering if it was worth cooling my 770 (stock) Will it still perform better if its cooled but still stock? Im replacing the 120mm in the back 100% so im left with 2 options. If thats the case these are my options.

Rig:
Corsair400r
GTX 770
i5 3570k
Corsair H100i
750w PSU

Options:
1. Replace the front 2 120s and have a more cool look & Take the extra 120mm and add somewhere else.
2. Put 2 120s on the side to cool my GPU for more performance (dont know if thats true or worth it)
3. Keep the stock 120s in the front and run 1 on the side of my GPU and one on the bottom of the case.

Hope I made this clear enough and thanks for taking the time to read and help me decide, thanks!

All a computer needs to stay cool is 3 fans. a front intake, a top exhaust, and a rear exhaust.

Then put fans anywhere you want just MAKE SURE they go like this: Front=intake Rear/Top=exhaust.

How do I make sure or know that the back/top are exhausting air?

normally there is a label at the side on the fan if not. when you look at the fans the part where you can see the wires is the part where they blow air out. While the other side is taking the air in..

here's a weird example.

air<<<------- (wire)[Fan](back side)<<<<------- air

so long as the wire is visible on a side meaning the air will be blowing out of it.

so if the back of the fan is facing me air is blowing OUT? and if the front of the fan is facing me it is pulling IN air?
I have 2 120s a 120 on the bottom and a 120 for the exaust
