Hello,
My computer was built from scratch last year, except for the power supply unit. Recently I have had this problem where my internet will disconnect while I'm playing a game, and a yellow flag will appear over the wireless connection saying Limited Access, and the only way to fix this problem is through a restart (I've tried ipconfig/release/renew and all that fun stuff) - while the other computers/devices in the house access the router just fine (which is only a year or so old).
I have tried 1)static & automatic IP addresses 2)changing all sorts of router settings, including a firmware update 3) setting BIOS to default, and eventually flashing CMOS 4) a complete reinstallation of windows 5) buying a new wireless care
Based off this, I figure the problem has to be either the motherboard (which is only a year old) or the power supply unit (which is probably 6+ years old).
How can I further diagnose this issue? I'm sick of trying to figure out the answer, and I could really use your help.
Thanks
