I was watching some videos and then I noticed the blue cursor blinking and it wouldn't stop. I scanned my computer for viruses and stuff already but nothing showed up, how do i get it to stop and why is it happening? Nothing else seems to be affected by it, I'm using Windows 8 on a HP laptop.

One suggestion I have read is to go to Control Panel, click on Keyboard and adjust the blinking rate. You may find these links useful:
