Is it possible to connect my bluetooth keyboard and mouse from Apple to my Acer Aspire S3 laptop?

I have tried to connect by Adding a Device, but the keyboard and mouse don't show up. I have made sure that the bluetooth connectivity is on for both the devices and the laptop, and it still doesn't show. Do I need to install a driver or anything? If so, where do I find it?

Thanks in advance!

I have read that it is possible but you may need an Apple recommended Bluetooth adapter. In one forum (http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-46943.html) I read that it is a D-Link adapter.
Here's one on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Asus-Mini-Bluetooth-Dongle-USB-BT211/dp/B0041UJVI2/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1386653143&sr=1-1&keywords=d-link+bluetooth+adapter

From what little I have read the DBT-120 may be the one you need and it can be found on eBay. In one Mac forum the complaint was they could get either the mouse or keyboard to work with the DBT-122 but not both at the same time...

I hope this helps.

Oh my gosh, You're the best! Thanks! Though the threads are about XP and stuff because it's from '06 and '03. Will it matter that I have Windows 7?

It shouldn't matter but the only way to know for sure is to try it. Worst case, if it doesn't work, is that you have a new Bluetooth adapter. If you do try it I would like to know if it worked as this may help others with the same question.
