I currently have an Asus Xonar Essence STX sound card installed on my pc and I have been looking into purchasing the sennheiser hd700. I would like to know if the STX is powerful enough to be able to run the hd700s with high quality sound. Also I have read that tube amps deliver better overall sound to this type of headphone so, if you know of any good tube headphone amps that are reasonably priced (budget= $500) please let me know. Thanks.
