Seagate vs WD vs Toshiba

Hi evryone

Which HDD do u recommend?
Which one is faster , Quiter and reliable?

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200Rpm 64MB Buffer ( model ST1000DM003)

Toshiba 1TB 32MB Buffer 7200RPM (model 0F11540)

WD Blue 1 TB 7200Rpm 64MB (model WD10EZEX)

all of them are SATA3.

over the 20 years i've been building and repairing pc's, i have found WD to be most reliable.

This is the 2nd time that I lose all my Data in
my WD caviar Green 1TB 64 Mb buffer. therfore I think WD HDDs are unreliable.

the green series isn't a drive i would recommend. you mentioned a blue drive, therefor i would recommend that. aside from that, maybe something i wrong with your pc, and thats why your drives are going bad. probably a power supply issue.

if you're only looking at 1TB, add the Black to the list.

I have the Seagate ST1000DM003 in my system and I love it! It is very quiet and faster than the comparable 7200 RPM WD offerings. Highly recommended!
