i have been working on my new PC for like 4 weeks now. i know that there is a green led(boot_device_led) that turns green and stays green. suddenly i noticed that it is red and i didn't do any unusual behavior like opening the case or anything. Although the PC boots fine and the display is turned on and everything seems to be going well and i didn't notice any performance issues since that happened, i know it should not turn RED

what should i do ?

PC SPECS :
Operating System: Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) (9600.winblue_gdr.131006-1505)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
MOTHER BOARD : ASUS M5 A99 FX PRO B2.0
BIOS: BIOS Date: 08/15/12 14:27:04 Ver: 04.06.05
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor (6 CPUs), ~3.5GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8098MB RAM

Solution
A red Boot Device LED means "no boot device can be found", but that's obviously not so in your case. If everything else is working okay I can only assume it's a fault with the diagnostics system on the board.
