It would help if you said what case you have, but there are 3 supported Phantom Cases.
NZXT Phantom 530
NZXT Phantom 630
The Phantom 410 requires a little drilling for screws.

Next time look and don't say it does not mention it.

Also, you have the case, so you can look inside and measure it.-5.5in is 140mm

I did mention it, i dont want to get into who mentioned it or not but im talking about the full tower one. Those are not the one, this case is the oldest phantom case and im not sure if i can use the thing i said at the first post or do i have to drill some holes.

Your not telling me what case you have- " Nzxt Phantom Full tower case." is not the model.
There are model numbers, and without them, I can't help you.

But like I said, you can measure the fan slots on the top of your case.
(Anything can fit with modding ;)  )

Scroll down to the chart, it states it supports 2x120mm (240mm)

NZXT Case: Phantom 410 | Phantom | Phantom 530 | Phantom 630 | Phantom 820
Size: Mid-Tower | Full-Tower | Full-Tower | Ultra-Tower | Ultra-Tower+
Fan Locations: 8 | 7 | 10 | 10 | 9
Radiator Support: Top 2 x 120mm | Top 2 x 120mm | Kraken X40 & X60 | Kraken X40 & X60 | Kraken X40 & X60
Fan Controller: Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes

(Sorry I couldn't clean it up more, but working from a cruddy laptop at the moment.)

So your choices are H100i, or a custom loop or many other choices. But for 280mm, you may need to mod a bit.
Here's a pre-assembled kit.

I probably go with a h100i because i dont rreally know how to use the custom loop.

You can get an adapter. This is what I am doing. Here are the some links:
Part: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_p...

How to install: http://www.nzxt.com/support/index.php?/News/NewsItem/Vi...

This should solve your problem!

It won't fix it becauce of the spacing between the two fans will be greater than a regular 240mm radiator. You will have 20mm in between the 2 fans which will prevent you from installing it.

Jake, if you look at the guide, it does work.

I am the one who put that together. you will only need one adapter installed to get it to work. the counter balance with the tubing helps it stay in place.

I didn't read through all of this, but I want to post that many of you have the dumbest responses ever. Does the Kraken x60 fit the Phantom Full tower case? "which Phantom case, there are 4 options. The 410, 530, 630 and 820" so all of you people are saying the original Phantom, called the Phantom, does not exist?

Assume he means the original from the start, and ask if he means the original or an updated model and refrain from being simple minded.

*edit* just read the rest of it. Funny, exactly what came to mind is the original and exactly what the Op asked about from the start. Yes, there is a compatibility list that he could have checked, but I agree with him asking as I thought the same thing.

Now, for the final answers that were what the OP asked, thank you all. That answered my question as well.

I mounted mine without an issue. The only problem I ran into was where my RAM sits. I had to wiggle it into the top portion of the case. That guide really does help. You will almost have to drill larger holes where the guide tells you to place them unless you have really strong hands to screw them in. I tried without and failed..

Scarlet-tech, there is just the Phantom Full tower case. IF you go to the nzxt website and go to the phantom series section, you can clearly see that there is a title for just phantom. Yes there is for the 410, 530 etc. but look again.

You need to be careful how hard you screw the screws in... You go to far you will punch a hole into the fins on the rad and then the game is all over.

It seems to me that the naming scheme of the Phantom series cases is causing the confusion here. Even after checking the Kraken x60 compatibility chart, I still wasn't sure if my case was supported. This is because the original Phantom case title apparently has no number associated with it. It simply is the "Phantom".
