Im building my first pc rig and i do have a budget of less than $90 for the motherboard. My question is if i can do some minor overclocks with the msi 970a g46 with an fx 6300?
I want to get it just around like 4.1Ghz. Nothing major. Will this work fine?

That board will be fine for minor overclocking. It's a 4+1 phase board, so make sure you don't go overboard or you'll blow your VRM's.
Make sure you have a cpu cooler other than the stock heatsink.

Low voltage + proper cooling = fine for minor overclock.

Thx, i kept reading about people who had problems getting the 6300 to like 4.7 Ghz but i dont even want to push it past 4.5Ghz. People also kept saying never to overclock with his board or the VRMs will blow but i wasnt sure how far they were trying to overclock it.
