Right. So, I have chosen the following components to use with my system.

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131873
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113286
HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840
Case: http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=CHACLM0282&name=COOLER-MASTER-K282-Black-Gaming-MID-Tower-Case-mes
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231550

That's all I got so far. I realize I'll need a PSU but I hear that isn't that important performance wise.
So what I'd like to know is will these components work together?

Also, I'd like to do a good deal of gaming on the system. will these components be good/powerful enough to run games smoothly in high quality (e.g. AC3, Chivalry, DiRT)?
And with gaming in mind, what would be a good GPU to go for? I'm looking to spend around 210$ USD on the GPU.
Thankyou in advance for any replies. Sorry if the details are inadequate

you can get a 270x for around that http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125476&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

your parts look compatible to me and for the psu you really don't want to skimp on it, if you choose a bad one you might end up frying some of your parts like your GPU or CPU if it dies
