Hi Tom guys n girls.

I am looking to build a watercooling loop on an older PC made from spares after and upgrade to a 4770k. This is basically to start to gain experience with W/C in general and learn to setup loops.

Are there any kits you can recommend for a starter but also offer expansion for later use on my newer build?

As I understand it the most important part is the Rad and fan setup, should this be where I am looking to spend my money? The old system I am looking to practice on is an old Lynnfield I5, the new system I hope to eventually work on is a 4770k. I know these require a huge difference in cooling setups with the Haswell chips putting out a much larger ammount of heat than the older I5.

What do you recommend?

Dear Kaltorak,

Sorry I didn't realize that you were looking at XSPC kit. The XSPC kit will most likely outperform the fathom since its equipped with a 360 radiator.

If you have any other questions please let me know.
