The 660 is a mid-range card. It will play some games on ultra, but not very intense games. What is that amount in USD? For about $200~ USD you can get a 270x, which is a solid card for 1080P, single monitor gaming . Not much better options for Under $250~

this looks better than the gtx660
http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-radeon-hd-7870-2gb...
unless you specifically want an nvidia gfx card.
gtx660 and radeon 7870 won't play all the latest games on ultra settings at 1080p resolution. you might need to turn down some settings to get fluid fps. your price range allows for midrange and very few upper midrange gfx cards.

The 7870 is popular for budget builds as well, as it is practically as good as the 270x. HOWEVER, you state you want to play all games at ultra (and I'm assuming 1080p.) To get 60+FPS on all games on ultra, will take more than any of these cards. If you are just looking to get "playable" frame-rates (30~) then any of these are decent options.

ok,,one more thing is gigabyte gtx 660 discontinued,i'm not able to find any one in online( india)

gtx600 series cards and amd radeon 7000 cards are slowly being phased out to make room for new gtx700 cards and radeon R7, R9 cards.

Don't buy from Flipkart. Prices are ridiculously high. Buy from some local PC store. Anyway Flipkart doesn't have all the parts we are looking for.

i already saw that the first time you posted. my recommendation stands.
if you're set on getting the msi gtx660 card, i won't be able to change your mind either way. it's your decision after all. personally, i don't like a single, open air cooling fan for a gpu like gtx660's.

if that's the case, use the price, card model as reference and check with your local shops for a better deal.

Yes, this is good card. Even I'm planning to buy it.

I'd say ASUS GTX 660 card is better.Good cooling and low noise.

But Asus GTX 660 card isn't available on FP.

MSI Twin Frozr GTX 660 is also not avaialble on FP.

But from some local pc store

btw, what power supply are you using? power supply quality, case airflow etc will directly affect card choice. i recommended assuming you're running a well-configured setup.

That price is a little high. Try to find a 270x, it should be cheaper, and perform better. Or look for an HD7870, almost as good. Both will run cooler than that single fan 660...especially the 270x, as it has GREAT temps.

Can the rest of your PC handle that card? CPU, PSU, MOBO?
