hey me and my dad want to connect our pc so we can share folders and play games together . he has windows xp and i have windows 7 i saw on the internet that you can connect file sharing on two pcs but i dont know how and also can you do file sharing when you dont have internet

File sharing does not require an Internet connection. It requires that both PC's be connected to your Router via Ethernet or wi-fi.

It can be a little tricky, and sometimes the Firewall can mess things up as well. You may even need to find a different Tutorial if you get stuck.

i have connected the computers straight together by a ethernet cable with no router will this also work
