Right basically were looking for what network segment your on. If you don't need a static IP address, put it to dynamically assigned and you should now have internet access. BUT if you want it to be static for many reasons(what ever you purpose) you will need to figure out your default gateway so we can supply you with the proper configuration to allow you to see other devices AND connect to the internet.

Hmm seems your not static because your using a DHCP server. See if the other computers on your network that can access the internet see if they have the same default gateway as the one from this PC...........If it is then ->

Open the CMD prompt again,
Type "ipconfig /release",
then after that type "ipconfig /renew"

It should pull the next available IP in your network. Then see if you can access the internet.

If you still can't, it could be possible you have malware blocking your internet connection? I would download www.malwarebytes.org free version and run a full scan and see if it finds anything.

The other computers have the same gateway. I tried to release and renew but still no joy. I shall try malwarebytes. Thank you for your help
