Does the power supply require a fan header on the motherboard?

NOOB ALERT
I have a really simple question which will determine which mobo I buy. The mobo supports 3 chasis fan connecters, 1 CPU connecter and 1 extra connecter.

My question: If I have 3 chasis fans and (obviously) 1 cpu fan, will the power supply take up the 1 connecter on the motherboard (with the above motherboard), or does it not connect to the motherboard.

Thanks!

Oh and 1 more thing. Can somebody who has a Corsair H100i CPU water cooler tell me if it requires 2 fan connecters or 1 (on the mobo). And is it 3-pin or 4-pin?

Solution
The power supply does not require a fan header on the motherboard.
You can also easily power fans off molex to fan power adapters, so the motherboard headers really aren't a big deal.
CPU fan header is the main one if you have a PWM fan on the CPU cooler (which varies in speed with the temperature of the CPU).
