Hi guys, came here to see if there was a fix to this problem at all. I have a work issued laptop, which is under work's group policy and their administration. Today i was stupid enough to try and change my computer name in system settings as well as remove the laptop from the work domain in order to remove their restrictions. After doing this i restarted the laptop and then rebooted. I had two user options, 1) Administrator 2)(My account name). I went to log into my account, (it is firstname.lastname by the way), and it shortened my first name. The password was still the same and all, and so i logged in successfully. After i logged on i noticed that everything was gone. All my valuable information, EVERYTHING :(. If there is a way this can be reversed, i would be really greatful if you can enlighten me. Thanks in advance :)

If you are not messing with your computer i mean C: then try this..
Go to c: drive>>properties then previous version tab...if there is any previous version available then you can check user folder and if your files are there or not...i am assuming that you have win7 installed...or did you try restoring your computer...

Your data is still there. Each Windows profile is different and you don't have access to your Domain profile since you removed the device from the domain. Contact your local IT and have them add the laptop back to the work domain.

Hey there. Unfortunately i can't, as if i try to do literally anything, the Admin prompt comes up, asking for the Admin password to authenticate any actions on the computer. As for the admin password, im affraid its in the hands of my IT department as they set it up.
