Constant Computer Crash

Hello, so I have recently upgraded my computers hardware a bit on my desktop. I am running an AMD FX 8120 CPU and a Geforce GTX 550TI GPU. My issue comes when I'm playing games like Battlefield 4 and Planetside 2 and about 30 minutes into my gameplay my computer freezes. The screen completely freezes and it doesn't go black or anything it just freezes. Nothing will respond, I can't open a task manager or close any programs because nothing is responding; or it looks like nothing is responding. I'm thinking my Graphics Card is crashing so my screen isn't responding but my computer itself is still running fine. I'm forced to do a hard reset to get everything to work again which isn't good for a computer. I monitored my CPU and GPU temperature during gameplay and I don't believe its overheating because at the time of the crash the temperatures of my GPU was only at 70 Celsius and my CPU was only abot 50 Celsius. maybe it is from a sudden heat spike forcing something to crash? I'm not sure myself so I'm looking for a solution. Any help will be much appreciated!

Check and see if you have the latest drivers for your GPU. I had some similar issues with a new GPU and found it needed the latest drivers to play titles like that. GeForce Experience is a nice little tool to use to make sure you are up to date driver wise. Although you will not be able to take advantage of all the features of GeForce Experience, you will be able to do driver updates and game optimization with that card.

Benchmarks: like 3DMark11, Cinebench, etc. they are designed to test your GPU by putting various stresses on it to see how it performs. You can check to see if your cores are truly un-parked by downloading ParkControl: http://bitsum.com/about_cpu_core_parking.php. Set both settings to disabled, then try running one of those game and see what happens.

Sorry for the really late response! But I ran Cinebench tests and the OpenGL failed with rendering so does that mean its my GPU ? The CPU test ran fine.
