Mouse doesn't move.

I was playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood and at one point after a cut scene the mouse stopped moving. All the buttons on the mouse are working. The mouse doesn't even move in safe mode or BIOS.
I have tried a different mouse but that didn't work either.
Changed ports with no success.
Formated my C drive and after installing new Windows, STILL nothing...

Now I have no idea what's wrong so I'm counting on your help..

So a format and the mouse still doesn't work? Hm. Have you tried other devices on the ports you tried the mouse on to make sure they work?

^^^^ It sounds like the mouse itself may be the problem. Try a different mouse

Maybe an issue with USB controllers? Do other peripherals work?

I have tried all 8 USB ports and the mouse doesn't work in any of them. Keyboard and external hard drive works.
After turning Legacy USB off in BIOS, I got it working for few hours but after coming back from sleep mode it wasn't working again.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Mad Catz R.A.T. 5

I'm afraid I can't think of what it could be then. Try speaking to your motherboard tech support, they are usually quite good.
