Alright, so I'm thinking of building an HTPC and using it for gaming as well. I've got this so far:

But it would be nice to reduce the cost.
If any of you have ideas on how to do that, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks!

Drop the CPU cooler because it isn't needed because you will not be overclocking. Get a Coolermaster elite 120 case and a better quality PSU form antec, XFX, Corsair,Seasonic. This will all save money.

The cooler is expensive, and fairly unnecessary. You could ditch it all together, but you can definitely save here.

Not a lot of point in a 4670. Might as well get a 4430/4440 (or in fact, any other i5) as they all offer better value for money. Mid range 4570 still lops $20 off.

The graphics card is discontinued/out of stock, you'll need to rethink here regardless. The obvious choice would be to pick a GTX760 for greater availability. That could be another $20 saved.

Biggest expense/luxury is the case. It's very appealing, especially if you want to move it around, but if you intend to have it sitting somewhere semi permanently, something a little bigger (and cheaper) might be a good idea.
CM Elite 120/130, various Silverstone SG might be more appropriate.

Yes. XFX make VERY good PSUs. They are mostly re-branded Seasonic units. They are VERY well priced and a very good option.

In that "case..." (you can see where this is going,) what case should I get? Preferably Mini-ITX.

On a budget look at the Coolermaster elite 120 or 130. They are very portable.
