im planning on overclocking with 412s to 4.8ghz, this cooler is better than 212 evo at lower fan speeds and i will be getting jetflo 120 for it. so will i be able to maintain a 4.8ghz overclock below 70c or should i aim for 4.4-4.6.
thanks guys

65C is still too high.

So no.

Every chip is different(even if they both are 8320), you will need to try the overclock to see how that SPECIFIC CPU will handle the overclock.

What PSU and motherboard do you have? Then I can give you a better idea.

I doubt this will contribute to the topic but.. Why is it that GPU's can take alot more heat compared to CPU's? Is it just that they're larger and therefore allows for larger heatpipes?
