I have a Pavillion P6 2117c. AMD quad-core a6-3650 processor 8gb DDR3 mem, and a onboard AMD radeon HD 6530D. as for specs go.

Im trying to improve the quality of my video gaming, What is the best video card for my system, also How do i know if my slot is PCI express 2.0, or 3.0.(etc)
Now, im looking for both quality and good performance in the 300-400 dollars range, My eyes are set on either nvidia geforce gtx 760 or 770. I need to know what's the best to handle say Battlefield 4 or some of these newer games coming out. Any input would be much appreciated it.

I just looked at the specs of your computer and the Power Supply is a generic 300 watt. First thing you need to do is get a better power supply(Antec, Seasonic, OCZ etc.) with a minimum of 500 watts to properly run everything. Then consider a higher end graphics card like the ones you mentioned.
