AMD Radeon Dual Graphics not being used in any of my games.

Hey there, I have just bought a new PC, and I have installed all the latest drivers for my devices from the AMD website.

My specs are : AMD RADEON HD 8670D
AMD RADEON HD 8470 + 8670D DUAL GRAPHICS

8GB Ram

Win8

64 bit

Quad Core AMD A10-6700 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

I am trying to get the Radeon Dual graphics feature working on my computer, but for some reason it just does not seem to want to work. I have tried it with league, WoW and Aion, and for each time. The game refused to load (like it would with Aion), or the game ran at 1-5 fps. Something is seriously wrong. I can run the game with dual graphics disabled, but it is bugging me that a feature I have payed for is not working, and even if it would only increase my fps by a small margin, I'd like to be able to use it.

It could be that those games do not support Dual Graphics. Go to the official forum of those games and checkout the tech support sections to see if that is the case.

You cannot force Dual Graphics on games that have not been designed to take advantage of it.

yes i do concur, games need to be programmed or support sli or crossfire or else ur 2 gpus wont be used in the games that arent made for this technology.

Alright but its a bit troublesome having to switch constantly to get the full advantage of it. But thanks for the advice, I'm going to update my graphics drivers using http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx (hopefully thats correct), and I'll let you know what happens.

Couldn't find anything on the forums and to CPU vet, thats the problem. The game just seems to not even want to run when its enabled, like League will run at 2 fps when it is enabled, Aion wont even load, and WoW won't get past login screen.

you dont have to switch, the game will just use one graphic card if two isnt supported

also id uninstall ur current drivers and use driversweeper to make shur theres no left overs from ur old drivers. than install the latest driver.

Alright, somethings happened. I uninstalled the drivers using the driver sweeper thing, and then reinstalled the drivers with the latest AMD beta driver. And now I'm missing a display adapter.

Its gone from AMD Radeon 8670D
AMD Radeon 8670D + 8470 Dual graphics

To AMD RADEON 8670D
AMD Radeon 8670D + 7000 Dual graphics

What did I do wrong?

Also, I used that AMD Gaming Evolved app before I tried to get dual graphics working, and it put my optimal settings much much higher. I use it now, and it puts them lower then what the default is. So I really don't know whats going on

They're running ok, but I don't know if I'm getting the full performance I could D:

Aion runs at 30-40 FPS with everything max highest res

WoW I haven't tested

League runs at 60 fps + still.
